[lead-p]Since her early musical study under her mother, and later Sri R. R. Keshavamurthy Jyotsna has enjoyed a rich career as a traditional Carnatic violinist.[/lead-p]
She has played extensively across South India. In the UK she has graced the stage at the Royal Albert Hall, Barbican, Southbank, Kings Place, Brighton Dome Theatre and Edinburgh’s Queen’s Hall.
She has also performed in Italy, Switzerland, Portugal, Norway, Denmark, France, Morocco, Dubai, Singapore and across America.
Her concerts have been broadcast on SkyArts and BBC Radio 3 traditional music from South India performed with the Carnatic South Indian violin and singing and two percussionists playing the mridangam – south Indian two sided drum and ghatam – clay pot.
