[lead-p]Jyotsna plays and composes for large-scale philharmonic orchestra, string ensembles and string quartets.[/lead-p]
Current projects include Raga Seasons, a work for string orchestra that creatively explores the overlap between the West’s four seasons (Winter, Spring, Summer, Autumn) with India’s six ritus (vasanta, grishma, varsha, sharad, hemanta, shishira) and their related ragas. Future projects include a plan to compose a work exploring the Indian rasa theory which states the nine states of human emotion.
